Should I reject 4.2.2 update?

A N7 is being shipped to me. I've been reading about all the problems people have been having with the 4.2.2 update. If I choose not to flash a custom ROM onto my N7 for now and want to use stock, should I try to reject the 4.2.2 update and stick to 4.1?

what problems are people having? 4.2.2 is the first 4.2.x version that has actually felt stable and fast.

where have you been reading problems with 4.2.2 I felt 4.2.2 fixed ton of bugs and one of the best update

I'm just reading this thread where people are saying they're happy that they managed to downgrade back to 4.1.2

Uh why don't you just wait and see what version your tablet ships with. It's possible it's already running 4.2 in which case this thread is a waste of electrons.

Do whatever is best for you. I have been running 4.2.2 for some time now and it's fine.

That's a pretty old thread. If you would read the entire thing you'd see that those complaints were for 4.2 and 4.2.1. both of those releases had some issues, but 4.2.2 is significantly better, even that 4.1.2 was.

I have been running the latest update without any issues. 4.2.2 is definitely worth the upgrade.

Also remember that since people come to the forums for answers the percentage of problems overall is much lower that what it seems here.
