Got my pixel 6 pro a coupe of days ago. Great phone and love the build and camera. But finding it way too big to handle and my hands are hurtng holding this thing.
Thinking of either returning and getting the pixel 6. Just for the size. I know Pixel 6 is also big, but hopefully it feels smaller than pro

From what I hear the 6 vs 6 pro is not a significant difference. If that is an issue for you probably better off returning it and getting something else. Definitely worth going to a carrier store and taking a look at the normal 6 before making a decision.

What you own should bring you happiness. It's a hefty investment so just think if in the long run it's going to be a constant pain for you to have such a large device, get the one that will better suit you.

As for the return policy, it seems during the months of October to January, Google waives the restocking fee (in the US only) as per their Holiday policy: https://support.google.com/store/answer/2411741?hl=en

So at least there is no monetary loss on that end.

Fair enough. Can't buy anything other than a pixel. I don't like other Android phones. So it's either 6 pro or 6 for me. My pixel 5 is the perfect size for me. I was ok with 4XL. This is way too big I feel

No sense using a "better" phone if you can't even hold or handle it. The pro is a BIG phone. If that isn't your cup of tea, go with something smaller. As suggested the P5 is a much smaller device. The pro IS better than the P6 in several ways. But the P6 is also a big phone. So again only you know what fits your needs.

I have both (will be returning one). I started with the standard but then got the pro which is what I am using now.

I would say that the size difference is small but enough to notice. The standard 6 is really nice and it may well be the one I keep but the extra telephoto, 120hz and smaller bezels tempted me too much.

As an aside my favourite colour is the sorta sea foam which is only available on the standard.

You have choices I had the 4XL it's similar and find this one easier tbh...Pixel 6 will get you right there if you wish ..

If the money mattered I would return my Pro..and I do not have a problem using it. Handling it is fine. I just do not how to safely carry it as it sticks far enough out my pocket that it may fall out.

My Pixel 5 was perfect.

Oh and I also have the Pixel 6 and that is just slightly smaller. still a pocket full. Bring on the Pixel foldable.

It all depends what you want out of your phone. Are you wanting a flagship with more up to date specs or are you ok with an all around great performing midrange phone? The 6 is still a pretty sizeable device and what makes these phones feel heavier is the glass. If you are not set on a flagship but still want Pixel device, the 5A is an EXCELLENT phone that is a bit smaller than the 6 and is lighter and easier to handle. If you want something completely portable that you can barely feel in your pocket then the 4A is also a great choice. I've mentioned this in other threads on here but once I get the 6, if I feel it doesn't suit my expectations I am perfectly fine sticking with the A series of Pixel devices. Overall they have had better reception and bang for your buck as opposed to the flagship.

We cannot decide this for you as this is all subjective to every user. These are just some points that maybe you can consider to help you reach your own personal decision. Make a checklist of what you expect out of a phone and go from there.

There is no doubt that for me at least that the standard 6 feels better in the hand. The bezels are quite large though (bigger than the Pixel 5) and it does not have the flagship feel in the way that the 6 pro does.

I think I am going to keep the pro and also think I might end up regretting this!

You have to do what's right for you! I agree with B. Diddy - give it a few more days just to make sure the Pro is a no-go. Sometimes it takes a few days for muscle memory and all that to kick in.

Keep us posted on what you decide!
