Should I updrage to S7 edge from Note 4 in August 2017?

As the title says, I would like to upgrade from Note 4 to S7 Edge next month. Thing is, I'm not pretty sure if this is the right thing to do. I was considering upgrading to S8 instead, but I'm not extremely enthusiastic over it, as I am over the S7 Edge. I don't want to wait for the Note 8 either, because it will basically be a better version of S8, but with a pen. Note 4 is a great phone, yes, but it feels old to me now, especially because I've had it for two years now. So, is S7 Edge worth it now? What do you guys think? I'd highely appreciate your opinions.

I would say yes, if you can get it at the right price. It is still a very capable phone today.

I like the Note 4 but if you don't care about removable battery nor ir blaster you should definitely upgrade.

Note 8 is 4 weeks away. Not sure why you don't want to wait until then. Note 4 to Note 8 upgrade makes much more sense to me.

S7 is a fantastic phone, not far behind the S8. The edge thing may be a bother for some , you might want to play with one first to see if it will be an issue for you...

I took the plunge! Upgraded from Note 4 to S7 Edge. Note battery was trashed after 2 years of use and crappy updates. Was charging 2 and 3 times a day. The S7 battery is amazing. Get a full day, with pretty consistent use. Speed is great. Overall feel is awesome. Definitely worth the money for me. The Edge takes a little getting used to, but it is totally workable. Love my S7 Edge. See no need to upgrade for another couple of years. Just my opinion.

Go for it. It is a truly great phone. I like mine today every bit as much as I did when I bought it last year on Black Friday. Awesome battery life, great performance and the most beautiful screen I've seen on a smartphone.

The S7 Edge actually feels like an extension of the S8 variant, an S8 16:9 if you will, lol.

I upgraded almost a year ago from Note 4 to S7 Edge, and I am very happy, especially with S7 Edge battery life, which is leaps and bounds better than Note 4. The S7 also has an awesome Camera that keeps up with the latest 2017 flagships


I'd say if you really camd't wait for Note 8, then get that S7 Edge.

I also updated from the the Note 4 to the S7 Edge and am very happy with it. No plans to update to an S8.

I had the note 4 now S7 edge. I miss the hmi the infra red and the swappable battery. I also think in daylight the note 4 camera was better being higher resolution. I'm waiting for the note 8 as I miss the pen
