I have an 8 year-old Apple Airport Extreme. It seems to be dying a slow death. Also, ever since we moved into our new home (roughly 2000 sq ft + basement ranch) seem to have wifi problems. I'm not sure if it's because the router or a bigger home (previous home was 1200 sq ft).
Would buying the Google WiFi 3-pack fix all my wifi problems? When I'm in the basement in my workout room, i tend to find wifi slower and when I'm downloading podcasts my network bogs so much I can't do anything else. I pay for Charter 100mb/5mb internet.
I usually will have a combo of 2 AppleTVs, 3 Echos, Ring Doorbell, Nest plus 3 iPads, 2 iPhones and 3 macs/pcs connect at any given time. Usually not all the same time but sometimes I feel that the Ring Doorbell connection isn't as consistent due to being far away from my current router.
