Should I use Nova?

Bever used it, but I've heard it good for customisations. My only worry about using it is if it'll slow down my phone's performance.

There are many users of that launcher for the customizations as you have noted and I have not taken notice of any performance problems, but with anything there are pros and cons. I don't use it because the stock phone works fine for me. What kind of phone do you have?

Thread moved to the S7 forum where it'll be easier getting feedback from other owners.

Short answer. Yes.

There are no reports of Nova slowing down any phone and it's an excellent launcher for customisation. The best thing is using the free version for a while and then decide if you like it and want to pay for the extra features (again, yes, you should do this). :)

It's quite easy switching between stock and a custom launcher and you won't lose your separated setups.

Feel free to ask if you need any help when using Nova.

Just started using it on my phone and I'm hooked, especially with the Google Now integration via the companion app. Here's a screenshot of my GS7 with a Pixel/G8 hybrid theme.

I haven't noticed any performance issues at all.

Nova launcher is highly recommended. I'm not a fan of Samsung's version of Android, but Nova helped me customize my S7 the way I want it to be. Try the free version first. I think there's something for everyone.

Actually, Nova is a smoother experience than TouchWiz on my S8. There's still some animation and transition jank on TouchWiz, even after the update. Nova's a very polished experience. Action Launcher is also fantastic.

I love this! I guess it shouldn't be too hard to emulate?

You should give it a try! It is one of the most well-loved and most-used launchers in the Android world. I don't think I've heard of it slowing down performance, however. You can always give it a try and see if you notice anything different!

I have been toying with both Action Launcher and Nova over the last few weeks. After all these years I have been just using stock launchers.

They each have some nice features but I noticed that my bubble for Facebook Notifications goes away on each of them. Am I doing something wrong... Or is there a feature I need to find to activate this?
