anyone try live focus and does it become a pain when it says live focus off due to shooting conditions then it goes back to live mode on.. It comes out nice but pain when its toggling off and on between live focus on and off due to shooting conditions

Yes. It's twitchy sometimes. Can't always decide what to focus on.

It’s a soft and/or out of focus mess. I’m still singularly unimpressed with this cam.
Well I like it. Plus I was walking two Huskies so was a tad difficult getting a lot of time in for the shots. I like the camera and enjoy it

theres no sports mode or even macro on Samsung galaxy 9

I too was bummed I couldn't find sports mode when I attempted some live band shots.
Later on I found it buried in the settings page.

I really need to get out and shoot some photos on this thing now that it finally stopped raining here in Portland. But the few shots of taken indoors have been either really washed out by flash or super soft as others have pointed out. Also all the modes at the top of the screen are confusing.
I'm sure it's just a learning curve. I hope... I really loved my S7 camera so I'm hoping the s9 lives up to its reputation

It looks to me like it is the 1.5 aperture issue. I think the front is in focus but, with the 1.5 aperture, you have almost no depth of field.

I will post enough pictures of me with "Sebastian Stan Platinum VIP Package" in Portland Oregon on April 13. Everyone be ready!! That's right, I did say "Sebastian Stan aka Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier".

After using this Camera more now I believe the best pictures are with the live focus setting in dual capture.. You get a nice closeup with blurred background that stands out and an amazing wide angle shot crystal clear.. I do admit that close up pics tend to look softer then the samsung 7 and 8 versions .. We used to have macro and closeup shots with older samsungs that were crystal clear.. Also motion pics tend to come out blury to even in sports .. this camera needs to be tweaked with some updates
