I am pleasantly surprised after putting in a little effort of the functionality of Bixby! It gets a bad rep from most reviewers and people who don't spend much time using it, but I've really enjoyed it! I hope Sammy keeps building on it despite all the negativity surrounding it. It's not a Google Assistant replacement, it's not a siri wannabe, it's a very very good phone assistant to control every aspect of your phone! It's really a version of automation if used correctly. With that said I wanna share some of my created quick commands that I use daily! Please share some of your favorite quick commands!

Just switched to note 8 after breaking the screen on my S8 and haven't set up others I had before.

Some good ideas and springboards for my own ideas in the OP.

This is one of the things I am most looking forward to using, I loved the feature on the note 7 that would allow custom settings to trigger by location so I am planning on using bixby to do that this time around.
I am also really looking forward to the control aspect when driving.

This is a great thread. What command have you used to make bixby read the sunrise and sunset times.

Too bad you cannot just type in these commands.

I've found you have to play around with how you speak to Bixby. Eventually you'll get it to do what you want, and when you do, add it to the quick command and use the history to add the series of commands in the order you want.

i learned if you click full screen talking to bixby you edit the words bixby doesn't understand then their in your history command the right way then you can make a quick command. Example I tried to have bicby open Waze but it keep thinking I was sayihg ways to I correced it and now have a quck command open ways to open waze.

I have not made a quick command for it yet but may add it to my good morning list (see my original post) but if ask it "What time will the Sun rise and set in Washington DC tomorrow" It will tell you.

I've noticed since the update this morning some of my quick commands tasks were not working, took me several tries and re-wording my commands to get back to the desired results. I hope this won't be a common thing with each update.

Will the moderator please make this sticky? It might be useful as users become more familiar with Bixby's practical and everyday use.

Thank you for that.
I ended up having to do that with the Twitter app I use, Plume. Of course Bixby wanted to spell it without the "e" at the end.

Here's a general Bixby question for setting Quick Commands...

Can you set them to open a specific app?

For example, the "stock" quick command actions for saying "good morning" includes playing music. However, it opens Google Play Music. That is not the music player I want to use. Is there a way to get it to open my preferred player (Poweramp) instead?
