I used a tripod to take the picture and tapped on the middle of screen for clearly focused shot.

I was gonna say um yea, how'd you steady aim that in super zoom mode to get a clear pic like that. The super zoom stabilization sux . The last time i was ever able to get a good moon pic was with an old minolta dimage z1 camera, Lol . CAnt wait for some harvest or blood sooper moons and try out the tripod method with the s21U :)

How do you do the moon shots. When I try it's just a fuzzy white orb. Tried various settings

Start out with it zoomed in at just 30x or so and tap on the screen. It seems to "wake up" the scene optimizer and the filters and things come alive so that it now looks like the moon instead of a white blob. Once you get to that point you can start zooming in closer and closer. Try to keep the moon on the screen or it may revert back to a white blob and you have to start over.

I think earlier I didn't have scene optimizer set. Thanks I'll try it later

Lol at the iPhone comment. Currently using one myself and I’m gonna wait around for the Pixel 6 this year. Hopefully Google really does use the rumored upcoming Sony IMX800 sensor for it. If they do, they’ll finally have the combo of hardware and software that I’ve been wanting to see them finally bring and it’ll most likely be game over for everyone else.

Personally I think it's going to take a lot more than game over for everyone else if they use the upcoming Sony Sensor. They will fall short by using a slower processor or messing something else up. It's always one step forward and 2 back with Google. They have been producing phones for 5 years and they still don't know how to make a proper flagship
