Wow! What a horrifying yet beautiful sight!

It really was not as large as my photo makes it appear. I focused in so close that it was hard to hold the phone still. But it was still very obvious from a long ways away. I sent the photo to a meteorologist on a DC station who likes things like this to see if he can explain it.

So there was an ice storm recently in my state. Almost 700,000 people without power. We're not one of them luckily! It made for some neat shots though.

WoWwww... This is what I expect this phone to do. Why am I not getting particularly crisp pictures/ Focused images? Reset Camera to default. Anyone have ideas?

Been playing with Camera Assistant for the S21 Ultra since the One UI 5.1 update. Definitely an improvement with motion blur but I think my SIM will go back in my Pixel soon.

Thanks for that. I wish I knew what I am doing wrong

You're not doing anything wrong, it's the forum software. The phone automatically determines Portrait or landscape and displays them correctly by reading the meta data, the forum does not always do that.

Before you upload, view the picture in the correct orientation on your phone and save it. That should allow it to display properly when uploaded.

Thanks for that, but I am posting using my desktop computer. The pictures were transferred from my phone onto the desktop hard drive and uploaded from there. They all display properly on both the desktop PC as well as the phone that I took the pictures with (S21 5G). The pictures were originally taken on the phon in the portrait orientation, so I see no reason the site's software would reorient them. Has happened before.

Unless you Save the photo from the desktop the photo is just as if it came from the phone. Prior to going all Android I would import the pics to my computer and then use FSViewer to edit and save them.... At that point the Pic was saved in the proper orientation and all was good.
