Show us your S22 cases!

One more thing to add to this - looking at reviews on the ESR Camera protectors (which I bought but probably will return without installing) is they fog up with temperature changes. This exact same thing happens with screw-on lens filters on traditional cameras when you walk from a cold area to warm area, for example. So it appears the lens protectors are not making a proper seal with the camera lens itself, and the last thing you want is moisture trapped between the protector and the lens. There was another review stating they damaged their phone trying to peel them off.

I guess at the end of the day, most phones these days have large camera arrays, and most people just use normal cases without any dedicated camera protection - you don't read about many people damaging their camera lanses. With the right case, they are pretty far recessed anyway, so even in your pocket or whatever, there will be little to no contact.

I can't seem to find exactly what Samsung uses on the front of their lenses, but I assume it's the same Gorilla Glass Victus as the rest of the phone (I would like to confirm).

I have the ESR lens protectors. I don't have my phone yet, but I'm going to return them. I had a lens protector on my S21 Ultra (another brand), and while I didn't notice issues with flare, that thing fought me, when I tried to get it off....and almost won. I was so scared I was going to damage the lens.

Never again.

Yeah, as much as I want to add protection to the camera array, the only two options right now kind of suck (the Niilkin case which is terrible and blocks S-Pens access, or the ESR lens protectors which come with a lot of downsides).

Also, one thing I forgot to mention, when I returned the ESR lens protectors last year on my S21U because they caused such bad flare, ESR emailed me repeatedly offering to pay me to remove my negative review.

This is an exact quote from one of the emails they repeatedly harassed me with:

" I think you have already received the refund

If you liked my customer service, can you please change / delete this review? It would be really important to my job"

I have the ESR ones and have yet to install them as they are not going to work with half of the cases I already purchased.
I like to change cases and these things seem like a nightmare to me.

Ok so I gotta see it with the Magsafe wallet attached. Does it hold well?
It holds very well. Super strong magnet.

Might be user error? I haven't had any fogging issues. I also removed a set on my brother's phone. It's just a mild adhesive, I'm not sure how one would damage their phone removing these unless they're really negligent. I had a camera protector (amFilm) on my S21 Ultra and the adhesive was REALLY strong, which made it impossible to remove without shattering the tempered glass - now I can see how one might cause damage in that situation.

Unless Samsung decided to make a change from previous generations, the camera glass is probably not Victus. I'm sure Jerry Rig on YT will do a scratch test on it.

Did you get a "removal tool"? I didn't. The only reason I purchased was because a removal tool was mentioned.

I don't recommend any glass over camera lenses that is not designed for photography. It will most likely impact the photos.

Good dialogue here about the ESR back camera lens protectors. Appreciate any and all insight. Will be installing them on my S22 Ultra tomorrow evening. Will report back with my thoughts.

I have that one.... Works fine. I prefer the Pitaka case over it. Much more expensive but very premium feel and thinner.

Where did you get the pitaka? I can't find it on Amazon. I have a lot off magsafe stuff and would love to use it on the S22U

Amazon....just checked it is out of stock right now.

I am sure they are making more.

Damn, I ordered the bamboo (still waiting for it), but man that looks sharp! Ugh, this case obsession has no end! Does the Aramid Fiber show fingerprints?

Yes, all Aramid Fiber cases are major fingerprint/grease/smudge magnets but sure look sweet when clean.
I posted some pictures of the Bamboo a page or so back.

The only con with the new Mous case is the buttons are a little too flush with the side of the case.
