Show us your S22 cases!

Not sure which is my favorite. I do tend to stick with the straps more often than not. The ultra is big so the strap cases make this beast of a phone feel more secure in my hand. My past phones always rocked an OtterBox pop case but OtterBox didn't make the pop case for the S22 series. So I've struggled to find the perfect replacement. View attachment 345497

Those are cute! I like the black one with the flowers and the purple one on the end. I've never used a strap case. I do popsockets.

I love the strap cover Aswell ...looks nice...Blue and orange color....
And easy to hold and gives very good protection to the phone

Do the straps interfere with wireless charging?

Just ordered this case from Discarve. Love these colors and pattern looks just like waves on the rocky coast <3

The Loopy case is challenging but the others have no problem wirelessly charging. The Loopy does charge wirelessly with proper placement, and crossed fingers and toes!

I picked up the Caseology Skyfall series case in black... with an off brand screen protector... so much better than the otterbox I was using.

I knew I wasn't going to get much screen protection but this Samsung case failed me on a simple sliding off my lap onto the side of my car seat drop. Was it the perfect drop? Nobody knows for sure but I expected a little more protection for the rear

This totally sucks. You got insurance?

Yep, unlucky drop. I wouldn't say perfect drop cause I really don't think it takes much of a drop to crack these things. The curved glass front and back has always been it's weak points. A drop down the side of your car seat... maybe only a one foot drop to floorpan??... lame.

At least it's much cheaper for the back glass if you have ubreakifix to replace than the front (at least it was for the N20U... I think around $30 for the part?).

Corning gives a strength rating to their GG but based on a certain thickness of glass and flat sheet. Samsung I believe uses a thinner sheet and on top of that they heat the glass to give them their shape. And then on top of that they are punching five holes in the glass for the cameras... all those factors can't be good for maintaining strength.

Looks good but wish they go with flatter glass for a number of reasons.

It seems like this curved glass has no function at all, accept to present a different look, and as you noted, weaken the glass. Not really a trade-off I'd suggest. I just don't see why they can't flatten the glass and market the increase in strength. Who would mind that??
