Here's a few screenshots of my Moto 360 with three custom faces I've created using the Watchmaker App. They are somewhat basic, but display the exact information that I'm interested in (and, I'm using large fonts so my old eyes can read them!).
This is the main one that I use the most. It has the time, date, battery percentage, and the number of miles walked (I do a rough conversion from steps to miles). If I tap on the mileage text the face will switch to a steps value.
The next watch face I use when I take my dog for a walk on the trails around my house. I have a stopwatch, steps, heart rate, and time on the main face.
The last face I use when I'm visiting a different town on vacation. I have the current city and temperature displayed at the top, with the expected high temperature listed in blue on the right. Same time, mileage/steps, and battery percentage as my first watch face.
I love that I can customize the watch face exactly how I want them using Watchmaker.
