Showing chrome /sites in recent tabs

Update: figured it out. Had to remove the Nova Google search widget and put in a Google Google search widget. Now sits I've been at and worked in are saved in recent tabs.

Can't remember how to set this and can't find the original question I asked awhile back

On my 24 Ultra there is recent tabs, shows recent apps etc and for some reason doesn't show recent websites or Google search to sites I've been at. Like if I'm working on something on a site, then leave it by opening an app, what I was reading or working on on the site disappears and I have to go and search it all over again. I know there's a simple fix to save it in recent tabs just like apps but I can't recall how.

Issue with recent tabs and Google searching

***Solved*** Solution found: my Google search widget was pulled from Nova Launcher. Google is a disabled provider with Nova widgets. Only way to make it stay as a recent tabs was by selecting "open in chrome browser". Cancelled that widget. Added widget direct from Google Search...
