Shutter Sound

I love how that is the first reply what a world we live in lol

I haven't found anything yet

On XDA they say the shutter sound is controlled by media sound. So while in camera app use the volume rockers to turn media volume to zero and the sound should go away....I tested it and it works with mine

use root explorer and navigate to,

/system/media/audio/ui and just moved the file, "camera_click.ogg" out of that folder. done.

Thanks for the tip! I guess you could do that. I would rather have my media always on while the shutter sound is always off in case I need to take a quick creep shot.

Thanks! That worked for me.

without turning media off and without rooting and removing the sound file i don't think there is any other way.
