Side Loading Icons

Hello All,

I bought the Kindle fire the day after it was launched, I was previously using a TouchPad. Now I have been side loading apps from day one, but one things that bugs the crap out of me is the Icon are so low res. I am super anal when it comes to things like this. It is almost getting to the point where I might sell this tablet just because of this reason. DOes anyone know a work around. My main apps are Google Ebook Gmail Google Music and Dropbox Box Net. Please help:-\

unfortunately the low res icons are really only a big problem in the carousel as a lot of apps only embed an icon that is pretty low res to be viewed on a small screen phone. I am now aware of a way to replace the icon alone short of installing like "Go Launcher Ex" and using whatever icons you like. I do not believe this requires root or anything just need the apk file for Go Launcher
