Sidesync with USB?

Did they remove the ability to connect to your PC via USB in Sidesync? WiFi connection works, but my work requires phones to connect to a separate network. USB worked fine with my Note8, but it won't connect now with the 9.

Are you sure you have USB set to File Transfer (MTP) every time you plug in a USB cable? (It doesn't stick - you have to set it each time.)

Yes. Turns out they killed support for the S9 so I'm assuming it's the same for the Note9. I tried Teamviewer but it doesn't work, either.
