Signal issue after roaming update

I have cell signal in my room for atleast 3 years first with my blackberry then with my nexus. I've never had a problem with it until my phone automatically dialed a number like #22899 and said ur phone has been successfully programmed. Over the past few days it says searching for services.

That's strange. I have never had that happen even after switching Sims and factory resets.

Ive done several power cycles and removed the sim card and reinserted it. It still doesn't work.

Yeah, it shouldn't do updates like that (*228). Take it in and see what the VZW people say.
