Does anyone else have trouble staying connected to the mobile data network? I will switch between 4G 3G and 1X all in about 15 seconds, and suddenly I have no data at all, or sometimes I simply cannot get a data signal and I have to reset the phone or turn airplane mode on and off, is this worth returning? Or do you thing an OTA update could possibly fix this issue.

I am CONSTANTLY having this problem. Worked great for the first week...then all of a sudden I started getting what you described, but only from home. NEVER had this problem with my BB Storm. And my SMS messages take several minutes to send out, while the receiver ends up getting my messages two and three times.

I would go outside the house roaming around the yard to see if it helps...but nothing. Sometimes if I disconnect from the Mobile Network and reconnect it would work...but only sometimes. If I get in the car and drive half a mile away...BAM...instant 4G. I contacted the local Verizon Store and they logged a ticket and a tech from Verizon is supposed to be out to check the area. If that doesn't work, they said they would exchange the phone and see if that solves the problem.

Btw...already tried the factory reset...and it didn't do anything.
I'll keep you posted when I heard back from Verizon. They said it should be this week sometime.

If you are having this problem in certain areas, I would recommend turning off 4G in those areas.

Either download an app from the Market (there are two), "Phone Info" or "LTE on/off".

Or, dial *#*#4636#*#*, Phone Information, select CDMA auto (PRL) and Save. Return your way out. This does the same thing as the apps.

Set back to CDMA + LTE/EvDo auto when you are in a stronger 4G area.

Given time, 4G should be strong everywhere. Just like 3G is now.

The problem is, it's not only 4G, its all mobile data in general. And turning off mobile data and turning it back on will fix it sometimes, but not all the time.
