Just got JB this morning. Aside from it running smoother (which is great), Google Voice and a different style screen lock. What are some other key changes?

Not significant, but I love that the back arrow turns intro a down arrow when the keyboard is up.

Notifications are sweet... If apps take advantage of expanding notifications you can use a two-finger drag to expand or shrink the notification.. I think its cool :)

Lots of polish in the screen transitions / animations, obviously the refined speed and fluidity that "project butter" was all about. Google now and voice searching with cards for many answers is very sweet. You'd be surprised how accurate the responses can be when you ask some questions.

Any Camera improvements??

Nothing huge.. if I remember right shutter time and focus has been improved a bit -- hard to see changes as the ROM I'm on has modified the app with additional features.

Oh also it's been linked with the Gallery app, so you can actually swipe your camera screen left to immediately start scrolling through your gallery, which is nice :)

Speaking of Google Now and voice search... (I don't have my OTA update yet but have Nexus 7).

My wife was reluctant to pit Siri from iOS6 on the iPhone 5 against my tablet. Same wifi, same voice asking questions: Google wiped the floor with Siri. When an answer wasn't spoken, the search results often had the answer when Siri was still asking if you wanted to search the web. The ONLY test we found where Siri was faster was when telling it to play music from a certain artist. Google has a built in "wait period" (that blue progress bar) that puts it just behind Apple. I suspect they could cut the wait time in half and have yet another win!

So, best changes with JB: Project butter, Google Now, and notifications.

And the new radios are awesome no more dropped LTE for me. Just can't find out why the GPS won't locked tried all the tricks but still the same as it was in ICS any Suggestions?

Shouldn't Gmail have this? I have tried and and nothing. I thought you could read emails and texts from the notification bar and respond without opening the app? But I can't figure it out.

I also thought you could swipe the picture up to delete it, or something like that.

Gmail definitely does. I'm not positive about the direct options you can do with messages/emails from their respective notifications, just never really paid attention. Typically you can read the gist of an email and most of a text via its notification. And that's the first I've heard of the swipe up to delete picture thing.. not even sure I would like that, feel like there would be some accidental deletes if that were present.

Ok I figured it out, when you are looking at a picture in pinch in and that will make it into filmstrip mode, from there you can swipe to delete. But you can also un-delete if you made a mistake before you exit.
