sim card in a nother phone

hi my wife has given me her old android e8 smartphone os nougat 7.1.1
it has a sd card question if i put my sim card fro my old android in it whos email address wil google playstore use

Welcome to Android Central! The SIM card is only for the phone number through your mobile provider. You can add your Google account in the Settings>Account menu, although to make things as clean as possible, I would recommend doing a factory reset first (to completely remove your wife's account), then set the phone up as if brand new using your Google account.

I agree the sim doesn't dictate which accounts go on the phone that's something you need to change.
