If you get a new nano SIM that comes with the V20, use it. I was advised by a t-mobile rep to not use the old SIM from my V10. I have to say the call quality on the V20 is way clearer and sharp, compared to on my V10.

I can't speak for T Mobile, however every phone I've ever gotten from Verizon comes with a new SIM card. It also shouldn't make a difference using a an old card.

My sim card in my note 4 is the same sim that was in my blackberry

I meant using a card the same size shouldn't make a difference. The Note 4 uses a larger card.
