got the sweet little big phone.

noticed that it has a sim card... so, when traveling out of the country, can I purchase one of those prepaid SIM cards to use it as GSM phone ?

any one w experience with it?

we used to have a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 windows CE phone, late 2009, early 2010, and had to call Sprint to unlock international use, and was able to purchase a prepaid 200 minute SIM card in London for voice calls. seems like it is the same deal?

Yes but only if you call the "Sprint International Team" and have the phone unlocked for oversea carriers.

Worked great for me in the UK on O2. Got fairly good data speeds too. Call the customer service for the sim you get and they can text you the apn settings which self install. I got 3g and hspa+

hi why don't you try using lemonsim card insteed? so far i am very happy, i ordered the sim card online in their website LemonSIM - No roaming fees Sim Card and when i travel i never pay roaming fees and the price calls are very cheap, i strongly suggest it to try..in the past i tried other sim cards like worldsim and maxroam but the sound quality was bad and the countries that cover are very less compared to lemonsim?
