SIM Card Recognition

If I switch a SIM card from my phone to my wife's phone, will the carrier recognize that I've made the switch? Will it transfer over without any problems and bring my data allotment with it?

It will transfer, but I'm pretty sure the data goes by what phone you're using and not the sim card. Wish I had another phone to test it on now.
Are you planning on switching devices?

Hi.The date in sim card will be transfered to the other phone.But the date in the phone will not be transfered.So you would better copy the content before you tranfer your sim card.
