Sim card slot 1 not working

Hi after repairing my phone from not charging. i have this new problem. which is the sim card slot 1 is not reading any sim cards. can someone post about this?

i tried everything.. but still the problem persists.
after an update the sim slot just stopped working.
kindly look into this. ive already replaced my phone once

Same problem with my phone! After the LCD was replaced. My sim card works on other phones.

Having same problem with my zenfone 2. I guess I'll have to take it to the service center. However, temporary solution is to stick the sim card in the slot using a scotch tape. Working for me as of now.
What I don't like though is that 3g/4g supported only in sim 1,not in sim 2..
