Sim card?

The past couple of days my cell signal has been off. Sunday into Monday I had airplane mode on. Then when I turned it off on Monday I had the message to call the 877 number to activate (Verizon) and the 1x showing. After reboot msg went away and 4g back up. Today I was back to 1x again (phone was off all night) I removed and reinstalled the card then 4g was back up. Am I starting or are already having Sim card issues?

It happened to my V10 - same exact thing. A TMO store verified and they replaced the sim card for free. Didn't help. THe problem went away, then the phone bootlooped 6 months later. It's a mystery...
