I was told to do a *22899. It made my PRL change to 52xxx and signal was alright but then I heard they were only 3G. So the only way i can get back to the 15xxx PRL was to get a New SIM from VZW. It was free and I just wanted to do a Signal Test to report back here.

These 2 screen shots were taken from the same location outside of the VZW Store-

Im running the OTA 4.0.4 Radios.

The only way the new SIM will accept is to start fresh.
-If running a Custom ROM, Wipe Data, Wipe Dalvik Cache, Flash Rom, Flash GApps, reboot and sign in-

-if running Stock, Factory data reset.

No More dialing *22899, it wont update the 4G while on a 52xxx PRL-

so, 52xxx didnt work out, and to go back you had to get a new sim card from verizon?

everything was fine running on 52xxx PRL but i wanted to do a Test. and long and behold my GNex liked the new SIM giving me a Signal Boost. Yes to go back to the 15xxx PRL you need a new SIM and wipe your phone-

My Nexus self calls *22899 almost daily. I was on PRL 15xxx then it dialed and is now 56286. I think it did this because I don't get any signal the majority of my work day in the basement I work in.

And your signal test was done right outside a VZW store?

yea lol in the parking lot, restarted and let boot and let sit for 5mins and took a screen shot. pulled out my SIM and went inside and told them i seem lost my SIM...
