SIM not recognised on Moto G

my moto g doesnot reconise the sim... soo many times i have reinserted the sim..but the phone is not detecting the sim

I have the same problem. I just got...like a week ago....a brand new Samsung micro SD 32 gig class 10 card, and have been having a lot of trouble with it, and today I woke up to find all the apps I had on it....GONE!!! I am very disappointed about this, what can I do to get my SD card back up and running to at least back up my apps to the cloud...which I did not do before this incident. And yes, I did reinsert it multiple times. I check my settings and it says "scanning" and stays there for a while..then for a split second it comes up as inserted then goes grey and says "Sim card not inserted". Please help me with this
