Simple Calender

I'm using the Simple Calender widget to display the date and my calender events on my home screen. Right now, it displays the next event in my calender, whether it is on the current day or in the future. For example, it is currently showing today's date and a doctor appointment I have coming up next week. Is there any way to keep it from showing future events until the day they are scheduled for? During a day that I have no entries in my calender, it would just be blank. I cannot figure out how to do this.

Go into settings.

Hit Calendars - More...
Change Search Days to 1

Thanks! Now if only I could get rid of the "no items found" message in the widget. Oh well.
