Ordered through Verizon. Excellent experience. It was my first time pre-ordering so I was a little nervous, especially considering Verizon's hit or miss customer service reputation.

Always pre order for the freebies. Had a good experience with Verizon got my N8 on the 5th. Even got one of my gifts (360 cam)3 days later.

Great experience with pre-order from Samsung. I received my Note 8 on September 7th, 1 week earlier that expected.

Ordered on TMobile Sept 2nd, was expecting to receive it Sept 13 to 15th. I don't recall which carrier started shipping early, but that started the avalanche and I actually got in on the 8th.

Pre-Ordered the Note 8 with Best Buy on Tuesday night, got it Thursday morning with pick-up option with UPS Very quick turnaround and easiest phone pre-order ever!

Generally satisfied. Would have loved to have been among those who got their phones early, but in the end I got exactly what was expected (in store BB pick up on release day).

Experience was pretty good. ordered on the 24th and got the phone on the 7th.

Pre-ordered with VZW. Had a glitch with the return box for the $480 bill credit, that order was cancelled somehow. Had to call and get the return box reordered. VZW agent assured that the $480 credit would still go through. Return of my S7edge was received this week in Fort Worth, TX. However return credit shows only $175 according to delivery confirmation email from VZW. I know it will take 1-2 bill cycles for the credit to show through so will wait before I call. Otherwise it was an ok process.
