Simple question from N4 owner

Hi,
here's my short, simple question :
On the N4, the notification led was completely useless, as it blinked one time every 15 secs or so, so a quick look didn't give you the info "did i receive a sms" until either you looked at it 15 secs, or you installed lightflow.

Is it the same on N5? or does it blink a bit more then once every 15 seconds ?

It blinks once every 10 seconds which isn't great if youre in a hurry.

I have Nexus 4 and my notification led blinks every 3 seconds.

well, weird, becase if i don't install lightflow, by default, it's once every 15 secs for me...

The notification led update rate was increased very recently in Android 4.4.1 (or 4.4.2? don't remember which). This was for both the N4 and N5.

I remember my N4 being a little slow, but 15 seconds sounds longer than what I remember. My N5 blinks at a rate of about:

3 seconds on
5 seconds off

My led setting is 1 second on 0.5 second off. It's surprisingly easy on the battery.

well, either on my N4 or my N5, with 4.4.2, it is once every 10 secs. i timed it.
a bit slow for my taste...
