Simple Questions

Could someone please explain this to me.
When a phone is broke what do the following terms mean do digitizer and LCD mean?
What's it called when a phone just respond to touch in certain areas? (what part is broken)
What's it called when a phone powers on but you can't see anything on the screen at all?
What are some other terms I should know about fixing phones?

I know these are probably basic questions but I couldn't find the answer when I looked around.
I'm just uninformed in this area of technology.

LCD is the screen the part that shows the images
Digitizer is the part that records the touches

If there are parts of the screen that don't work its the digitizer

On a side note

Some phones have the 2 parts fused together like super amoled screens so of your looking for a replacement keep that in mind of your device has that type of screen
