Simple rom for evo?

So my Evo has been deactivated for awhile, got a new laptop and haven't had time for it. Basically I've been out of the loop for several months now, Im sure ICS roms have come a long way.
I'm looking for a fast rom, something I can use to record HD video and playback music.
The phone is deactivated, so 4g and gps arent a necessity.

Any suggestions for a rom, either AOSP or sense, that has no trouble running full speed on the phone?

I'm sure you already know but roms are trial and error....head over to xda and take alook around their forums....I'd hate to give advise for something that works great for me but really sucks for you.....hope ya find it tho

Video isn't working on the ICS Roms.

Decks reloaded is sweet. I am using energy Rom but it doesn't have 4G

Also FYI, Google Maps now supposedly supports offline maps, so you may be able to cache the maps over wifi, and GPS will still work out in the wild without online data. (haven't tried this myself yet)
