simple root....wireless tether

Ok let's see...I'm trying to get the wireless tether to work. I used the simple root method for rooting and have had a successful root. Now how do I do the wireless tether? I'm stumped. Thanks.

Go to settings, wireless networks, tethering & hotspots check the tether box.
