Since Jelly Bean using camera crashes phone

Since upgrade to 4.1.1 when I use the camera it crashes the phone. Not a little bit but big time the only way to get it going is to pull the battery. After reinserting the battery it will reboot. It wall be fine time you go to take a picture then crash. Do you think is hardware related or Jelly Bean??

I'm having the same issue. I am also getting a freeze/crash when trying to enter the gallery.
