Since Kitkat update, Note 2 makes random camera sound

Unrooted Note 2, on Verizon. Updated to KitKat a few months ago, at rollout. Since the update, about once-a-week, the phone makes a random camera-click sound (shutter sound). Anyone else notice this? There are no apparent notifications. Weird.
