SInce the Lollipop update, why aren't photos showing in my Picasa Albums?

Lollipop: Photos does not show Picasa Albums

Just got the lollipop update. I knew the Gallery app would be missing but I expected to see my Picasa albums in the Photos app. No such luck. Photos *only* shows photos and videos that are resident on the Nexus 5. Settings does not give me any options except adding an account. Help is unhelpful. Clicking on albums shows no photos found. Fortunately, I can see all my Picasa albums in QuickPic. How does QuickPic get the albums and not Photos? I don't see any helpful settings in QuickPic about offline viewing some of my 111 albums.

I still have Picasa and PicasaWeb albums and hope to keep them.

I think it requires signing into Google Plus. They said that wouldn't be necessary anymore, but it is.
