Sites w/ untrusted SSL certs?

Up until 2.2.1 if I went to a site w/ an untrusted or self-signed SSL cert it would warn me and allow me the option of going through. Now it just kicks out an unable to create secure connection and doesn't let me opt beyond that.

Am I doing something wrong? Had too much eggnog? Both? -Pk
