Six inch Motorola Device hits FCC!!! Nexus 6?

Nope pretty sure Motarola model: XT1254 is the new Droid or Droid turbo

Or a GSM variant (droid-life mentioned a Moto MAXX). I'm not sure this filing is the Nexus 6. Apparently it doesn't even have all the global bands that Nexus phones typically have.

I agreeI don't think its the Nexus 6. I don't think will know anything until the 15/16 last year we only had evidence of the nexus 5 because of the employee who used one at the unveiling of KitKat and someone snapped a picture.

Nope, not a Nexus. Look at the dimensions and the bands it supports. Nothing to see here folks. Engadget just jumped on the report without doing further research.

So if this isnt the nexus does it mean that there won't be one this year, surely we should of seen more leaks of the actual nexus ??

No, it just means this isn't a Nexus. This is probably the at&t version of the Droid Turbo....only with a different name of course. There's still a Nexus 6 on the way.

If they are holding a press thing around the 15th of 16th of October........ I mean yesterday we saw the rumored Nexus 9 tablet hit the FCC and now this device..... Wouldn't be shocking to possibly see a few more hit the FCC between now and then..... No where near as many leaks on the Nexus 6 as were the Nexus 5 last year that is for sure......

Yeh thats what im surprised about

I am very surprised about this also. I wonder if it is because it is a phablet that people don't care enough and are not digging as hard as usual? Because the Nexus at this time would have a ton of buzz in previous years....

Its only a 6" device if the nearly the entire front is a screen.
Based on the outside dimension of 73.33 x 143.49, the hypotenuse would be 161.14mm (6.34")
If the screen really is 154.49mm (6.08" [not rumored 5.95"]), that would give a screen size of 75.9mm x 135mm, which is wider then the phone (assuming 16:9 aspect ratio)
There is something wrong with the numbers, but based on the outside dimensions being a hair larger then the 2014 X, this is likely the Turbo/Maxx.

These are the same number we saw before for the Turbo

I'm not very good at reading these documents, and I'm sure most of you are better than I am. In one of the documents (RF Test Report), the FCC lists WCDMA Band IV: 2112.4 MHz ~ 2152.6 under 1.4, Product Specification subject to this standard. What does this mean? I've seen CDMA and WCDMA listed several times in these reports as part of the tests performed by the FCC. I realize that this isn't the exact same Band 4 as used by T-Mobile, but wouldn't it stand to reason that if this phone includes WCDMA Band IV and most LTE Bands, that it probably also includes LTE Band 4 as well? I could be completely misreading these documents though.
