Skip to next song

It there a way or certain program that you can listen to music and skip to the next song without having to wake up the Note??
I was mowing yesterday and had my headphones in but had to hit the home screen button, swish the home screen and then hit the next button to skip to the next song. It there a button combo or a "shake to skip" setting??

Get a pair of Bluetooth headphones, almost all of them have skip forward and back buttons. My preferred are these: Amazon.com: LG Tone Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Are the tips small for a female? I have Motorola rockers and even with the smallest tips they are way to big

If you're using headset earphones (the ones with the 'call' button) just hit the button once to play/pause, twice to skip. Unfortunately, pressing the button thrice (which works well on most other phones), does not rewind/play previous. You don't need to wake up the device to do this but there are some programs that require you to activate a setting to 'listen' to headset controls.

BTW, there is a way to use the volume rocker as next/previous buttons, but you need to be rooted to install and use that MOD.
