Skype Logging Out - G3

I am trying to figure out why the behavior of G3 is different with Note3. I have a Skype installed on my G3 and whenever I minimize it, it will go offline (after some time). I was able to validate this by using my wife's Note3. When I open her Skype app, I don't see my G3 Skype account online. If I launch the app in G3, that's the time it will go online but I don't see the sign in process anymore.

If I do the same test with Note3, my wife's account will just switch to "away" status. It doesn't go totally offline unlike the G3.

Any idea why?

Have you checked the app settings on the G3 to see if it set to time out or go offline?

The settings of G3 and Note3 are exactly the same.
