There is a problem with your latest instructions on how to add personalized incoming notification tones/ringtones in your newest version on Skype for android. Version 2.0.0.47
These instructions you have posted on your help section no longer work.
ALSO as I tried, it seems you can no longer do this (changing the incoming notification ringtone) at all.
(you also spelled personalized incorrectly on your site) https://support.skype.com/en-us/faq...ification+sounds&fromSearchFirstPage=false#15

As I cannot change this notification, I cannot hear a skype call come through (being as the default tone is really quiet). Any help on this would be most appreciated!!

Can I use personalised ringtones and avatars on the Android application?
Yes, you can select from ringtones that are already pre-loaded onto the phone or stored in your music library. To set a personalised ringtone:
6. Sign in to Skype.
7. Go to the Profile tab.
8. Press the phone's Menu button.
9. Select Settings.
10. Select Notification ringtone and select your ringtone.

Hello Shawn,

Thank you for contacting Skype Customer Service.
We understand your concern regarding notification in your application. We'll do our best to help you with this matter.
To help you resolve the issue, please follow these steps to change the notification in your Skype application.

1.To start, double-click the Skype icon on your desktop or system tray, or find it under Skype in your Start menu.
2.Log in. You can do this by typing in your username and password. Click "Sign in."
3.Open the options menu. Click "Tools" at the top of the window and then click "Options."
4.Click the "Notifications" icon on the left. It looks like a red flag.
5.Select your online notification preference. If you want to be alerted when a contact comes online, click the box so an X appears next to "Comes Online."
6.While you are here, you can set up additional notification preferences. Check the boxes next to the events you want to be notified about and uncheck the events you're not interested in. Click "Save."

We hope you found this answer helpful. Should you need any further assistance or have additional questions please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Best regards,

Rufina A.

Thanks for getting back,

My concern is on choosing the notification tone for incoming calls and incoming messages for Skype on android, not avatars. This WAS available on the previous version of Skype for android, after the update, it is no longer available (from what I can see). Please read my original e-mail.

Device ? LG Optimus
Android version 2.2.1 (NOT ROOTED)
Skype version I had listed in the first e-mail - Version 2.0.0.47
Screen resolution (shouldn?t be a concern for my issue) 320-by-480-pixel resolution
