Skyraider 3.0 RC3

Very well. Its very stable. I like the look, since he got rid of the steampunk guy in the notification bar.
Stock 2.2 was getting around 1100 quad scores, RC3 is getting 1300 consistantly.
No app problems.
I actually am running an identical setup to yours.

Are you talking about RC3 sense? It's a battery hog for me...I think I'm EITHER rolling back to 2.5.2 sense with the KxK # 3 kernel OR looking around for a Vanilla ROM.
I dont quite understand your comment...This SR version is a SENSE rom, I am sure everyone is well aware that a SENSE rom is stock with some tweaks...SR's interpretation of sense if you will..It was never labeled Skyraider's Magical Mystical Never Before Seen Rom...It was labled Skyraider W/Sense.
Skyraider RC3 is running very well for me. It has been extremely stable and I'm so happy for that. Now that I'm using setCPU app I have been getting good battery life. I know Sense uses more resources than Vanilla, but the battery hasn't been an issue for me (am still using the original battery that came with the DINC). I was thinking of trying CM 6.0.1, but not sure how stable that is yet. Plus, I really like some of the Sense widgets (especially for the mail program) and I'm not sure if I'm ready to give those up.

So far I'm pretty pleased with RC3, its been very stable for me. My quad scores have dropped a little from 2.5.2 but I like the idea of changing the right add key on the bottom dock to browser. Battery life seems to be the same as before so I'll stick with it for awhile. I really like Sense so I won't be changing for 6.0.1 unless it gets great reviews.
I am running CM6 now, my first taste of vanilla...I had to spend alot of time tweaking things that sense does for me. I am really missing some sense stuff but not going to change back just yet. CM6 does run pretty nicely so I am going to give it a few days to grow on me after all the work I put in. I was on RC3 before switching and I thought it was pretty darn smooth.
I missed the scrolling widgets- news, friendstream. I also kind of like the retro clock with weather. Thats what made me leave vanilla.
As far as RC3 goes, I went to it over the rooted and debloated sense ota because of the kingxkernel. All in one solution.

I used vanilla on my Droid 1 for awhile and never liked the dialer either, you might want to search xda for another option.
I am going to try out virtous now....CM6 is out. I dont know if it is CM6's fault but I just replied to a text message in a thread and it went to someone else...cant be having that malarkey!

no doubt..that could get ugly. I dont understand why it happened. My cousin who sits across from me at work and has a stock DINC sent me a text this am to help me test the CM6 messaging app. I deleted the thread after it was received. Then I got a text from someone else and I replied within the thread. My cousin got my reply and the person it was intended for never got it....that is NOOOOO good!
no, the messaging app that came stock on CM6...I am not even going to try handcent or chomp or anything else, This ROM is out I am getting ready to flash Virtuous. I cannot risk something like that happening.
