Skyrocket Cases?

Ok, I read through all the posts.

Fomr gathering, I should be looking at the Diztronic TPU or the SGP Neo cases as they seem to be the thinnest ones out there.

I hated my ditztronic and will send you mine, just pm me.

It is thin but I like my cases that way. Can't stand bulky cases. I believe that is what I paid on amazon but worth it for me so far.

I got this Clear TPU case from amazon and am happy with it. It is slightly more difficult to adjust the volume level but otherwise I have no complaints, plus you can't argue with $5.

Software guy, you rock. Got the case.

Modified it by cutting out the volume button cover with an exacto knife(used my wifes arts hand held). Now I don't hit the volume buttons any more when holding the phone.

For what its worth, I had my first good drop with the Seidio Active. The phone fell more than 5 feet on to a hard laminated concrete floor perfectly on the upper right corner. There was no damage of any kind....or at least its not apparent yet.

Insurance?

You do know that besides the $80-90 bucks premium a year you will pay a deductible of at least $250. In addition they do not guarantee you a new phone, nor your color or even that it will be the same model. You could pay out half the price of a new phone and end up with a refurbished funky colored model you wouldn't dream of owning. Insurance sucks donkey balls.

The Otterbox Defender is the best insurance, hands down. It's a thinner and more refined version of the skyrocket defender case.
