I have tried this but it says no image and then the last it says wrong file size. I have tried 2 sd cards also.

I have this problem but can't get anything to work as posted. Have tried 3 SD cards with no luck. Phone is rooted but black screen with white lines appear when recovery is attempted. Can't get it to recognize anything on the SD card. What am I doing wrong?? I have reformatted SD card to FAT32.

One thing I'm seeing on this phone (it's my son's) that wasn't on mine is that when plugged into USB, a Verizon app pops up and the PC shows a "CD drive" in the list of drives. Is that new?

make sure its format fat32 place the file in the root of your sd card then load up hboot ... btw i update the link to the new cwm version .sorry for the late response

go to rom manager and click up to flash recovery .. the new one supports slcd

Clockwork Mod Recovery includes support for SLCD Incredibles as of version 2.5.1.2- released around the beginning of the year, don't remember the exact date.. You can flash it from within ROM Manager.

No link needed. Just flash from ROM Manager.

As the other links say, flash from inside ROM Manager if you're rooted

If you can't get it through ROM manager for some reason, it's also here...

Delete everything before the PB31IMG in the file name, place it in the root of your SD card (SD Card mus be formatted FAT32) and let HBOOT load it.
