Sleep battery drain rate

I'm not getting the incredible sleep performance of the nexus 5 other people are reporting (3% for a night). Though when I woke up today the biggest consumer of the battery was 'Wifi' even though it was switched off! If I click on it, the CPU time says 0s but 'Wifi running' shows the entire time the phone has been on. Does this mean mobile data, or what? Is some app constantly trying to communicate through Wifi? No idea...

Settings.......Wifi......Advanced.....Scanning Always Available.

You can turn it off there.
