SlideIT keyboard tip

I had downloadEd and installed the SlideIT keyboard trial last week using Will's methods with great satisfaction. got an update notification today and decided to try it out.bought the full version and it installed directly from there market. to work it wanted to uninstall the trial, but it kept failing. I assume this is because it had to be moved from /data/app to /system/app in order to work. so I tried moving the full version .apk to /system/app. same problem. street a few attempts to uninstall the trial, out actually refunded me the purchase of the full app. then I just deleted the trial and tried to use the full version, but it wanted to validate my license, h of course failed. I had to delete both .apk's and reset to get the market to realize I had been refunded the purchase, then I purchased it again and it installed directly from the market and showed up in nook color tools "select keyboard" without having to copy manually to /system/app.

anyway, the tip is to be sure to remove the trial of SlideIT before buying the full version.

Hi,
I've tried but cannot get slieit to install. I uninstalled the trial and bought the full version, but it does not install. I cannot even find the apk on the nook. It appears to have installed, but I see no evidence of that. Any help out there?

I believe it downloads it to data/app.

here's what i did:

1. download free version
2. Use root explorer to move it to system/app
3. Reboot nook
4. Go to extras
5. Click on SlideIT
6. follow on screen instructions from there

It worked for me on the first try. If you've already attempted to install it make sure you completely delete it before trying again.
