Slideshow speed

Hi All, new to tablets so please be gentle with me. I have just got a Nexus 7, which upto now is great, and I'm having fun learning all about it. However, one thing thats annoying me is the speed photographs go through the slideshow. Is there anyway of adjusting this?

Hey, I have the Nexus 10 and the speed was bothering me also. Far too fast for my taste. Fortunately I found a way to slow it down, can't control it still..

Go to settings > display > Daydream

Set it to photo frame and click the settings button to designate which folder to slideshow. At the top, hit "start now" and you'll have a slower slideshow.

QuickPic is an excellent Gallery replacement. You can customize the slideshow interval, as well as the transitions.
