Slight lag when returning home?

Just got my s3 yesterday. Everything seems to fly except I have noticed slight lag when returning to the home screen from most apps, mainly SMS. Anyone else experienced this? Was considering doing a factory reset.

I did turn on the power saver. Noticed it will limit the CPU, not sure if this is the cause.

Update: I did a factory reset including pulling the SIM and replacing it. Seems to be all better now.

If you're using the home button and it's a little laggy and you don't need it to access s voice, you can disable double tapping it to launch S voice (there have been a couple videos around - Qbking77 did one). Launch S voice and go into settings. Then uncheck "launch S voice by double pressing the home key." Supposedly when you hit the home key there is a very slight pause while it waits to see if you double press. I really didn't notice much of a difference but some people do. Let me know.

Good tip. Going to give it a try. Thanks

Does seem to be slightly better. Good tip considering I have no use for svoice

Glad it worked. I don't use s voice either so just unchecked it and left it.

S Voice can be fun to play with, but it's not useful too often. Thanks for the tip to disable it!
