Slight speaker buzz at max call volume?

I'm getting some buzz at high call volumes for the regular handset speaker. Not as noticeable on lower volumes, but an overall slight fuzziness.

The weirdest thing is that at the very first ring when I make a call, the ringtone buzzes/crackles. It only lasts for a few seconds. Subsequent rings don't do it...

I have noise supression set to High.


Anybody else?

yes my earpiece speaker buzzes too, always at over 50% volume...and for all rings...and the beginning of the phone conversation. then it seems to settle down, but will always sound a bit muffled.

i was considering taking it back but dont want to deal with the hassle at the moment.

the "external" speaker sounds fine.

Havent noticed that myself. What I normally do is always keep the in call volume at least a tab before the maximum. Basically because of that reason.

i couldn't stand the speaker buzz so i gave in and took the phone back to at&t today.

new phone has ZERO buzz...so if you've been suffering, try exchanging it for another one.
