Slightly different group message problem

Hi all!

I am having an issue where one contact of the group will have their replies pulled out to a new thread.. The other 3 contacts in the group work as normal group. This happens in the stock app only.

In go sms it works fine (not a huge fan of the app tho, it has a double notification issue).

Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi! Is that user an iPhone user? I've read a lot about messages received from iPhone users behaving strangely.

Nope. they are using actually using note 2. In fact the iPhone user in the group works fine.

Ive had that problem too... My friend (On a S4) is always pulled out of the conversation that I am having with 2 other iphone users. Not sure what the problem is. But I used to use Go SMS and Handcent, but I got tired of those apps, and all their bloat. So I was happy to get the S4 that was suppose to have smooth group texting.

Hmm.. I wonder if it has to do with Samsung devices... Strange.. Yeah I tried gosms and handcent too, but wasn't happy. Hopefully someone else has been able to troubleshoot this issue.

having this issue on my Moto X as well, so it's not a samsung issue

Group Messaging and use MMS for Group Message options enabled plus Textra SMS works for me.
